Instructions for throwing a boomerang - boomerang throwing technique
1. Hold the boomerang between your thumb and forefinger
2. Hold it almost vertically between 0° & 20°
3. Pay attention to the wind
Align yourself with the wind so that you throw the boomerang 45° to the right, against the wind. In stronger winds then up to 90°. To test the wind direction, you can simply drop some grass.
4. Throwing height
Aim for something over the horizon (e.g. a distant tree) and lunge forward when throwing it to give the boomerang as much speed as possible. When throwing the boomerang, try to give it a forward twist using your wrist.
5. Catching
Now all you have to do is catch it! To do this, simply make a clapping motion while catching the boomerang between your hands. Always catch the boomerang next to your body and never in front of it! Have fun improving your boomerang throwing technique!

Safety instructions
- Not suitable for children under 8 years or older depending on your boomerang.
- Danger! Read the instructions and safety instructions carefully before use, keep them for future reference and pass them along if you pass on the boomerang.
- Not suitable for children under 3 years. Injury due to uncontrolled throwing is possible.
- Boomerangs have sharp edges due to their function.
- Please always catch the boomerang with a clapping motion next to your body (and never in front of your face!). If you are not sure about catching it, it is better to let the boomerang fly through.
- Throw only in open and flat areas without obstacles (either stationary or living).
- Throw only when weather conditions permit. Strong wind is particularly dangerous, as it can cause a boomerang to go significantly off course and fall uncontrollably.
- Always throw one at a time and in sequence. Those who do not throw should always stand at a safe distance behind the thrower and watch the boomerang.
- Children may only throw under the direct supervision of an adult. Please note the age recommendation for the boomerang model.
- Make sure there are no people within the throwing radius. ALWAYS keep an eye on the boomerang from release to catch (or landing).
- Never aim at the eyes or face. Boomerangs are sports equipment and require effort when throwing. Please pay attention to overexerting.
- Have fun!
